Here at CHS Christchurch, we’ve partnered with CP-Carillo and Manley Performance to develop a robust, high-horsepower single cam engine package. CP-Carillo has engineered a lightweight, high-performance turbo piston, perfectly paired with Manley’s bulletproof H-beam rods to create a durable and powerful bottom end.
For the cylinder head, we utilize Manley’s oversized valves, ensuring a high-flowing, reliable design. This is complemented by our spring and guide package, tailored for bigger and more aggressive camshafts. Combined with larger valves, high-performance springs, and expanded valve pockets in the pistons, this setup allows for significant power gains.
CHS Christchurch’s engine kit is versatile and can be used for turbocharged or naturally aspirated applications. Compression ratios ranging from 8.5 – 10.1:1 can be achieved by adjusting the deck height, gasket thickness using Cometic MLS-style head gaskets, and combustion chamber size.
